Our Multi-Site Strategy
Christ's Church of the Valley (CCV) and our Senior Pastor, Dr. Don Wilson, have a deep desire to reach the valley for Christ. We realize this is a large goal. In order to make this goal a reality, we must bring the weekend worship experience to those who live further away from our first location in Peoria. It has been our experience that once someone has to drive more than 20 minutes to church, their involvement and ability to invite friends and neighbors drops off significantly. Launching campuses across the valley is the most effective avenue for us to continue our mission to Win – Train – Send.
Our multi-site approach targets saturation points in the valley where we have a collection of people who already call CCV home. Our desire is to bring CCV closer to their region so they can have a higher level of engagement in the ministry and invite their unchurched friends, families and neighbors to a church in their local area. Close proximity to a CCV campus is important in executing our Neighborhood Ministry strategy most effectively and to win people to Jesus Christ, one household at a time.
This strategy is not intended to compete with other Christian churches. CCV is not designed for everyone. We encourage those already connected to a local Christian church to remain plugged in, making the maximum impact for the Kingdom where God currently has them. We will launch each campus with a core group of people who are already committed to CCV, and extend our reach to the unchurched in that area.
