Safety & Security
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before service starts to allow yourself some extra time to check-in your children, especially if it is your first visit.
Registration
All first time families are required to register each of their children before checking them into a classroom. Once a child is registered we offer a fast and convenient classroom check-in procedure. Each week you will simply enter your phone number into one of the kiosks located at your child’s classroom. You and your child will be given matching stickers, yours will serve as a pick-up receipt and your child’s is their name tag. A child will not be released to their parents without presentation of the pick-up receipt. In the event a pick-up receipt is lost, a staff member will need to verify your identity and match it to your child in our registration system before releasing the child to you.
Volunteer & Staff
Everyone who works with children has been through extensive training and background clearance. Volunteers are also required to be members of CCV which means they have attended Starting Point, been baptized and have signed a CCV covenant. There are also a minimum of two volunteers and or staff members with your child.
Visitors
You are welcome to check out one of our children’s areas. In order to ensure the safety of our children, visitors will be asked to sign in and out and wear a visitor badge during your visit.
Security
Due to the large crowds present during our weekend services, the CCV campuses are monitored by our security staff and volunteers. The areas belonging to the children’s ministry are routinely patrolled.
Health & Injury Issues
We do not accept children with any signs of illness. We understand this can be an inconvenience; however, we greatly appreciate your cooperation in this effort. While your child is in our care, if he/she becomes ill or sustains an injury that requires your attention before the service is over, we will first try to contact you by cell phone. If we are unable to reach you, your name will appear at the bottom of the screen in the worship service instructing you where to go. Parents of infants are provided a vibrating pager. A medical response team is present on our campus during all weekend services.
