The Garden

At The Garden, CCV's Nursery, safety and cleanliness are paramount and parents can feel comfortable leaving their little ones. The ratio of trained, caring adults per child ensures that each child's needs are personally met as he/she begins to experience the love of Jesus.

Curriculum

Twos

Your 2 year old will have a fun filled hour that we hope will be the best hour of his or her week. Each room is staffed with caring volunteers whose passion is to teach the word of God and show His love through creative play, story and song.

We believe our Twos can begin to learn God's Word! Your child will bring home a Bible verse flyer along with the motions to memorize. We encourage you to review this with your child during the week so your child will begin to hide God’s word in his or her heart. You will be amazed at how much he/she can learn!

Each week the children will have a special time of music that will create excitement and joy. A Bible story is taught with story pictures and creative play. Your child will bring home a coloring page or craft that will reinforce the lesson. Encourage your child to show you the craft and discuss the Bible lesson.

The ever popular snack time may include fish crackers, graham crackers, cheerios or pretzels. If any other snack is provided a note will be posted at check-in. Please be sure to inform the teacher if your child has any allergies. Water is provided. If you choose to bring a sippy cup, please be sure it is labeled.
