• What is it?

  The Bible mentions dozens of people who thought they were like everyone else…until they realized they had incredible God-given abilities. These aren’t fairytales, this was real life. It could be your real life. Join us for a 10-week series examining the lives of ten ordinary people and how they used their extraordinary power for good.

• Everyday Heroes

  Heroes often go unnoticed and don’t get the recognition they deserve! At Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV), we would like to personally acknowledge the dedication and service of some of the people who work to teach, protect and defend our freedoms, everyday; and take time to honor them for their amazing impact within our community. During this series, on these dates, we will be honoring some of the ‘Everyday Heroes’ that are on the frontlines and making a difference:

• New visitor information

  Some helpful tips if you’ve never been to CCV:

  Parking:

  If you have kids with you, enter from 67th Ave and park near the Children’s Campus. If you don’t have kids with you, enter from Happy Valley Rd and park near the Auditorium.

  What to wear:

  We want you to feel comfortable at service. Everything from jeans and tees to business casual is common attire.

  Come Early & Stay Late:

  We have a full service café, the Terrace View Café, offering gourmet sandwiches, fresh salads, a featured hot-entrée, and Papa Don’s famous pizza on Saturday evenings and Sundays, as well as a Starbucks coffee shop.

  You can also experience The Outdoor Grill, which has a classic open grill menu to enjoy, while watching kids play on the common grass area.

  The Café & Grill Hours: Saturday 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm & Sunday 8:30 am- 2:00 pm

• What about kids?

  Heroes will be campus-wide, bringing inspiration to all ages! The service in the Auditorium is created for adults. Programs created specifically for your children, age birth to 6th grade, are available at the Children’s Campus. This secure, fun and interactive environment is just the place for your most prized possession: your child. To ensure your child’s safety, we have a Children’s Check-in system. Visit one of the registration stations located in each building to get started. Children of different ages meet in different buildings. We will have plenty of greeters on-site to help you find the right building, however you are welcome to check out the campus map in advance.

Every weekend, CCV offers five identical services in the Auditorium:Saturdays at 4:30 or 6:00 pm and Sundays at 9:00 am, 10:30 am or 12:00pm.
