Visitor Tips

Here are the Top 10 Hints to make your first visit to CCV fun and stress-free.

  1. Parking

To make parking easier, we have signs to direct traffic and help you find your destination with ease. If you have children with you, it’s easiest to enter the property from 67th Avenue. Parking in a lot near the children’s campus gives you easy access to all children’s buildings. If you do not have children with you, it’s easiest to enter from Happy Valley Road and park near the Auditorium. Here are more details on traffic and parking. For a better idea of how to get where you need to go, view the campus map.
  2. Children's Campus

The children’s buildings are divided by age group. Each building is set up with your child in mind in order to maximize their experience and make learning about Jesus fun! While you enjoy a worship service designed for you, your children will enjoy an experience designed just for them. Whether you have an infant, a 6th grader or both, we want to meet your kids and have fun with them.
  3. Childrens’ Check-In

For children ages birth to 6th grade, we have an automated check-in system. This system makes sure your children are secure and well taken care of. Please visit one of the new registration stations located in each building to get set-up.
  4. What To Wear

We want you to feel comfortable joining us for a weekend service. People wear anything from shorts and sandals to business casual.
  5. Service

In order to limit distractions during services, here are a few helpful hints to help you out. We hope your first visit goes beyond your expectations and that you will come back and make CCV your church home.

    1. Please be courteous by turning off all pagers and phones.
    2. CCV has great children’s programs. Take advantage of the fun and drop your children off at their age-appropriate classes. If you wish to bring your young child with you to service, please join us in Palo Verde II, just west of the Auditorium lobby.
    3. To be considerate of others, we ask everyone to remain seated until the end of service. Leaving the service early to beat traffic usually causes a disturbance during the service. Plus, you might miss something important that God had planned for you.
    4. If you are a first-time visitor, we do not expect you to participate in the offering. CCV depends on its members and regular attendees for giving and keeping the ministry growing.
    5. Stop by the CCV Bookstore to pick up your complimentary CD of the weekend service. This is our gift to you!
  6. Questions And Getting Connected

After the service, stop by the information area located outside the main doors of the Auditorium. Check out our neighborhood-based groups, sports programs, and other specific ministries that interest you.
  7. No Expectations

As a visitor, you won’t be singled out or asked to give a dime. We want you to remain as anonymous as you want to be, but we encourage you to visit our church over several weeks to see what CCV can offer you.
  8. Dine With Us

You may want to check out our Terrace View Café, Starbucks Coffee Shop or The Outdoor Grill while visiting us for the first time. Each option provides a great atmosphere for talking to others while filling an empty stomach.
  9. Our Gift To You

After the service, stop by the information area located outside the main doors of the Auditorium to receive a special visitor's gift packet especially prepared for you. Also, if you would like a keepsake of your first visit, stop by the CCV Bookstore to receive a complimentary DVD of the worship service. This is our gift to you.
  10. Come As You Are

We are excited to have you here! CCV is a warm, inviting place so you won’t feel all alone.
